Janus Gardens Inc

Janus Gardens Inc. is a plant propagation nursery.  Established in 1999, we're situated in the lower mainland of British Columbia just minutes from the Lynden border crossing.

As producers, solely of liners, we specialize in a the production of a broad spectrum of Ornamental Grasses, Sedges, and Rushes.  We also grow select Perennials, specifically Helleborus.  Everything we grow can be found in our Catalog, likewise everything that is ready for sale can be found on our Availability List.

Plant Availability

All orders are booked subject to availability of stock, crop failure, shortages or matters beyond our control. The majority of the plants we propagate come from our own field stock and seeds that we collect. We have a large inventory of both in every season, but only the plants in demand are propagated in large quantities.

All plant propagation from seed is based on multiple seeding per plug, resulting in a strong and vigorous plant. Subsequently, once upgraded, growth of the plant is accelerated.

We recommend that orders required for the following Spring ( around March ) are placed by August of the previous year, sooner for specialty plants. Please refer to the individual plant listings in the catalog for typical availability dates.

Plug sizes include 200s, 72s, 50s, and 32s and vary according to each plant. Special requests for unlisted sizes may be negotiated.

Prices

All prices are F.O.B and do not include delivery and shipping charges. Large orders or contract growing may be negotiated, please contact us directly.

Minimum order is $200 CAD. All orders will be rounded and sold as full flats only. We guarantee 100% of the plants per flat.

The regular terms are net 30 days to all customers with an established credit history with the company; other purchases will be C.O.D or prepaid in full. In the event collection of an overdue account is instituted to collect any amount owing, all fees incurred as a result are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Shipping

Orders are shipped via the most cost effective carrier or transport company if the customer does not already have a personal preference.

Boxes hold between 2-5 trays depending on the type and size of plant ordered.

All US bound shipments are subject to phyto and brokerage charges.  Small orders ship out of Lynden WA, pallets ship out of Kent, WA.

Janus Gardens Inc is not to be held responsible for any damages incurred as a result of shipping or border delays.
